Offered here is a 1937-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar, struck at the San Francisco Mint. This classic 90% silver half dollar features Adolph A. Weinman’s celebrated Walking Liberty design.
The previous owner marked the coin “F” (Fine), and I agree with that assessment. I estimate it at approximately F-12. Liberty retains good remaining detail in the gown and lower skirt, while the reverse eagle retains considerable feather detail. The coin shows wear consistent with the grade.
