This offering is for an antique early 19th century Blown Glass Apothecary Jar. The jar measures an impressive 13 inches tall to the top of the finial and it features three applied cobalt blue rings and pontil scarred base. The jar itself measures app. 8\" in height and the lid with stopper measures app. 5.5\" including the lower flange, together they are 13\" tall overall. From my experience any of these over 11\" tall are very hard to find and this example is stellar. The condition is outstanding with no chips, cracks or abrasions. There is a think thread of glass laying on the surface in the bottom section that is absolutely guaranteed 100% to have been in the making and not damage of any kind. There is also a tiny tiny bit of impurity in the glass in the top section as seen in our close-up photo\'s. The cobalt blue glass rings are all hand applied and the base has wear appropriate for a glass jar going on 200 years old. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 30.00 for proper packaging and mailing and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
